YouTube API Data
- FormBae uses YouTube API Services to search for exercise videos and attach relevant workout videos to trainer-created exercise plans.
- Stored YouTube API Data can include video IDs, URLs, titles, channel names, thumbnail URLs, search queries, fetch timestamps, quality scores, replacement activity, and quota events.
- The Privacy Policy explains how this data is used, processed, stored, and shared with internal admins/trainers and external service providers.
Refresh, Update, and Delete Timing
- Temporary YouTube search-result cache entries expire after approximately 6 hours.
- Stored video matches are updated when a trainer/admin replaces a video, when automated repair tools refresh a missing or mismatched video, or when the related exercise or workout row changes.
- YouTube API Data is deleted or overwritten when the related exercise, workout row, account data, or video match is deleted, merged, replaced, or no longer operationally needed.
Embedded Video Redirects
- FormBae embeds videos with YouTube's standard player controls.
- Each embedded workout video also includes a visible Watch on YouTube link that opens the selected video on youtube.com in a new tab.
- FormBae does not block users from opening the embedded video on the YouTube platform.
